Mariah T. Martin
☼ I’m Mariah, a Technical Communications student at the University of Central Florida, holding a Bachelor’s degree in Public Health. My path bridges two worlds: the precision of technical writing and the wild beauty of personal expression. I’m passionate about using language as a tool, for clarity, for advocacy, and for remembering what matters most.
Professionally, I’m drawn to projects that value collaboration, inclusivity, and user-centered design. I have experience working across diverse teams and initiatives, and I believe deeply in writing that informs and uplifts, especially when it empowers those who often go unheard.
This space is both portfolio and sanctuary. Here, you’ll find my resume, writing samples, and technical projects—alongside poetry, reflections, and rituals rooted in nature, sustainability, and spiritual self-remembrance.
I believe storytelling belongs everywhere—even in instructions, that healing and systems design don’t have to be separate, and that we are at our best when we bring our whole selves to the page.
Follow along as I explore the intersections of language, environment, and soul, through the lens of both a communicator and a human being learning how to remember.

01
Step 1:
Outcome: Awareness
Begin with listening.
Gather knowledge—about the Earth, about systems, about yourself. Research environmental truths, personal rhythms, and the stories we’ve inherited. Awareness is the root of all change.
02
Step 2:
Outcome: Alignment
Bring your values into action.
Whether it’s adopting sustainable practices or rethinking how you communicate, this step is about bridging what you believe with how you live, work, and write. Alignment is clarity in motion.
03
Step 3:
Outcome: Expression
Let your voice be part of the shift.
Use writing—technical or poetic—as a tool for impact, empathy, and advocacy.
Share your truth. Tell better stories. Build better systems. Expression is both offering and echo.
04
Step 4:
Outcome: Transformation
Become the change you’re here to embody.
This isn’t just about personal success or sustainability metrics. It’s about deep, lasting impact from the inside out.
It’s about: remembering, reconnecting, reimagining. Transformation is when your inner work and outer work become one.
