“He is like a tree planted by streams of water
that yields its fruit in its season,
and its leaf does not wither.”

Psalm 1:3

There are seasons in life when the ground beneath us shifts: motherhood, illness, loss, calling, purpose, deeper meaning. The moments when something is ending, something is beginning, and we find ourselves standing in the in-between.

I write from within these spaces. I reflect on faith, embodiment, purpose, and the ways we are formed through what we did not choose. This work has grown into Sacred Ground, a contemplative space for women navigating seasons of sacred transition. A space where embodied reflection becomes resilient faith.

It also extends into Legacy Lines, where stories are gathered, preserved, and honored, because the lives we live and the stories we carry matter.

Step 1:

Outcome: Awareness

Begin with noticing.

Before anything shifts, we learn to slow down and listen: to our thoughts, to our bodies, our stories, and the places within us.

In seasons of transition, life often feels disorienting. What once felt stable no longer holds. This step is about becoming aware of it.

We gently begin to notice what is changing, what is being asked of us, and what is already present beneath the surface.

Awareness is where formation begins.

Step 2:

Outcome: Grounding

Come back to what is steady.

As awareness deepens, we begin to ground ourselves in presence.

This is where embodied faith takes root.

Through reflection, stillness, and attention, we begin to reconnect with our breath, our bodies, our relationship with God, and the ground beneath our feet

Grounding is not about control.

It is about learning to remain present within the transition without rushing past it.

Step 3:

Outcome: Encounter

Make space for what is unfolding.

In silence, something begins to emerge.

Not always clearly or quickly, but faithfully.

This is where transitions become formative.

Through contemplation, dialogue, and guided reflection, we begin to encounter new clarity, deeper truth, a more resilient faith, and a sense of God within our lived experience.

This is not something forced, but something received.

Step 4:

Outcome: Integration & Alignment

Carry it forward.

Formation does not end when the moment passes. It continues as we return to our lives, changed in ways that may be subtle, but deeply rooted.

Integration is the work of living differently, holding ourselves with more steadiness, trusting what has been formed, and walking forward with a faith that has been tested and strengthened. This is where inner work and lived life begin to align.

And over time, what once felt like disruption becomes part of who we are becoming.
