Hey, I’m Mariah—a writer, thinker, student, and soul-searcher. I’m currently pursuing a degree in Technical Communication at the University of Central Florida, building on a foundation in Public Health. My background has taught me how systems work—and more importantly, how people move through them. Whether I’m creating a user guide, conducting a usability test, or refining interface content, I’m always asking:

How does this make someone feel? And how can it serve them better?

My goal is to create clear, inclusive, purpose-driven content that not only solves problems but speaks to people with empathy. I’ve collaborated on projects with a variety of teams and communities, and I’m passionate about using communication as a bridge—between disciplines, between perspectives, and between people.

But writing, for me, doesn’t end at the technical.

This space also holds my personal writing, poetry, and reflections on environmental stewardship, spiritual remembering, and the quiet beauty of nature. My creative work is rooted in deep listening—to the land, to the body, to the soul.

Writing is my ritual.
